Anointing

The anointing of the Holy Spirit equips the believer to serve God with power and discernment. It is not a spiritual ornament, but the investiture that accompanies the consecrated servant and prepares them to fulfill the work entrusted to them.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit gives the believer power to witness, build up the church, and remain firm in the truth. The anointing that comes from the Lord remains in those who obey His Word, teaches with divine authority, and sustains the evangelistic mission with fervor and effectiveness.

1 John 2:27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
