Sincerity

God looks at the heart and values truth above appearances. Christian sincerity is shown in genuine repentance, a clear confession of sin, and conduct consistent with the faith professed.

Church discipline seeks to restore the guilty and protect the congregation's witness; but the path to victory always passes through honesty before God. The faithful follower of Christ does not hide their fault, but brings it in confession, trusting that the Lord's grace restores them. Sincerity is the foundation of a holy life and a credible witness before the world.

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
