Diligence

The Christian life demands constant dedication. Perfecting holiness, fulfilling the duties of membership, and persevering in the Lord's work require sincere effort, sustained by grace and the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

The believer's effort does not seek to earn salvation, but to respond faithfully to God's call. Working in evangelization, building up the church, and guarding doctrine means fighting in faith, trusting that the Lord gives strength to those who strive to serve Him wholeheartedly.
