Perseverance

To persevere is to remain faithful to God when initial enthusiasm gives way to trials. The believer is called not to grow weary in prayer, service, and obedience to the doctrine received.

The church grows when its members continue doing good with constancy, attend services faithfully, and sustain the work with patience. Persevering is not resisting out of pride, but trusting that in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
