Intercession
To intercede is to bring others' needs before God: those of the church, the sick, the afflicted, and those who do not yet know Christ. Intercessory prayer reflects the Father's compassionate heart and the unity of the body of believers.
Doctrine teaches that the Christian must pray for their brother, support pastors, and petition for all people. When the church intercedes with faith and perseverance, fellowship is strengthened, witness is built up, and doors open for God's work to advance with power.
1 Timothy 2:1

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
