Purity

God is holy and requires His children to be holy as well. Holiness means being clean from all impurity, separated from sin, and wholly dedicated to the Lord. That cleanness reaches both heart and outward conduct.

God's Word, the blood of Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit are the means by which the believer is sanctified. Perfecting holiness means turning away from all contamination of flesh and spirit, keeping oneself unstained by this world. Inner cleanness is shown in a righteous life that honors God and strengthens the church's witness.

2 Corinthians 7:1

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
