Fruitfulness

Being a church member requires showing the fruits of true repentance and a life consecrated to the Lord. Spiritual fruitfulness is not the work of isolated human effort, but the result of remaining united to Christ, the true vine.

The believer who abides in the Lord bears much fruit: souls won, lives transformed, and a witness that glorifies God. Apart from Christ we can do nothing; but in union with Him, the church grows in number and spiritual maturity, fulfilling the purpose for which it was called.

John 15:5

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
