At the first service of the Central American and Caribbean Congress of the World Missionary Movement, thousands of families from different nations gathered at the Panama Convention Center in Panama City.
Rev. José Arturo Soto, President of the World Missionary Movement, led the preaching of God's Word and developed the theme "Seeing the Home Through God's Eyes", inviting the assembly to reflect on God's design for the family.
The message emphasized that the home is not shaped by passing cultural trends, but rests on a covenant established by God. Marriage was presented as a sacred, permanent, and responsible commitment before the Lord, grounded in faithfulness and unity.
It was also noted that the biblical mandate to grow and multiply goes beyond numbers: it means building generations founded on solid spiritual principles. The family is the first place of formation, where values, faith, and convictions are passed on that will shape society's future.
The President of the MMM highlighted the need to teach and live God's Word within the home. Hearing it at church is not enough: every family is called to practice it daily, making it a guide for raising and spiritually strengthening their children.
It was reaffirmed that marriage creates a deep unity: "they are no longer two, but one flesh", a bond that upholds the home against any challenge. Amid today's social changes, the Church was urged to protect and guide new generations with firmness and love.
This service opened a significant spiritual chapter of the congress, reaffirming that a family built according to God's will is the foundation of a strong Church and a stable society.
Activities continue at the Panama Convention Center and can be followed on Bethel Television and the official World Missionary Movement channels on their digital platforms.
